Every year, more than four lakh students successfully complete their Class 10 examinations, and over three lakh students pass their Class 12 examinations in Jharkhand, creating a growing demand for quality higher education opportunities.

The State Government is committed to ensuring that no deserving student is deprived of higher education due to financial constraints. In line with this objective, the Government has introduced a student-friendly education loan support initiative. Under this scheme, eligible students from economically weaker sections can avail education loans of up to ₹15 lakh at a subsidized simple interest rate of 4% per annum. This financial assistance is intended to help meritorious students pursue higher studies without financial hardship and access funds as required throughout their educational journey.

The objective of Student Credit Card and Scholarship Program is to create awareness about the various educational schemes among students of Jharkhand.
